Ketevan Kukava is a founder and director of a Georgian non-profit organization “Law and Public Policy Center” and an invited lecturer at the University of Georgia. She is also the head of the personal data protection special interest group at “Internet Society – Georgia Chapter.” She is the author/co-author of numerous publications relating to justice sector reforms, human rights, personal data protection, etc.

In 2022 Ketevan passed the judges’ qualification exam in civil and administrative law. She has 11 years of work experience in different sectors. Ketevan is a Ph.D. student in law at Tbilisi State University. She holds a master’s degree in International Law from Georgian Institute of Public Affairs and another master’s degree in Human Rights Policy and Practice from a consortium of three partner universities: University of Gothenburg (Sweden), University of Roehampton (England) and University of Tromso (Norway). Besides, during her bachelor’s studies at Tbilisi State University, she spent one semester as an exchange student at Vilnius University. 

In 2019 Ketevan successfully completed the Intensive Programme in European Law and Economics at Riga Graduate School of Law. Besides, she participated in short courses/training at Saarland University, the CEELI Institute, College of Europe in Natolin, etc.
