Based on the decision of the general meeting of the Bar Association, Irakli Kordzakhia has been a member of the Ethics Commission of the Second Convocation since 2017. In 2010-2012, he was the chairman of the Ethics Commission. Irakli has experience working as a lawyer since 1999.

In 1999-2002, he worked at the Credit Unions Development Center of the World Bank and IFAD on the creation of the draft law on credit unions, giving lectures to managers of credit unions. In 2003-2004, within the framework of the IBRD project, he worked on changes in the regulatory legislation of telecommunications - in particular, on the compliance of subordinate normative acts with EU directives.

In 2004-2009, he worked on the leasing bill as part of the USAID project implemented by ACDI/VOCA.

Irakli is a member of various professional organizations - Association of Young Lawyers (since 1996), Lawyers' Association (since 2005), Georgian Leasing Association (since 2005).

In 2009, he was elected as a member of the Ethics Commission by the general meeting of the Bar Association for a term of 4 years, in 2010-2011 he was the chairman of the Ethics Commission. On December 9, 2017, the general assembly of lawyers elected him as a member of the Ethics Commission for the second time.
