An economy graduate of the Mossinger Institute in Zurich, Goran Lazarevski holds a master's degree in international management. As manager of leading companies, he worked on business transparency and ethics, corporate governance, operational management, finance, sales, marketing, research and development in ICT and distribution. He also held managerial positions in the public and civil sector. 

On the USAID project for the development of investments and the promotion of exports, in charge of public-private dialogue, he worked with the public, private and civil sectors on mechanisms for dialogue and the ENER platform for inclusive law-making. As Chief of Party of USAID's project on innovation and inclusion in microfinance and director of the Alliance of Microfinance Organizations, he worked on lobbying and advocacy with regulators and civil society to improve existing legislation and introduce new and more transparent policies. 

At the East West Management Institute, he was Chief of Party of USAID's Civic Engagement Project, working with over 80 civil sector organizations, judiciary institutions, government and business community, including the Judges’ Association, Deputy Prime Minister for good governance and the State Commission for Prevention of Corruption, to strengthen civic participation and transparency, responsibility and accountability, anti-corruption and good governance at the local and central level and he continues these efforts as local expert on anticorruption policies.
