Croatia / North Macedonia judicial expert, University of Zagreb.

Currently works as a Doctoral Assistant at the Faculty of Law in Zagreb, Croatia, Department of Criminal Law. He also serves as a Legal Advisor at the Judges Association of North Macedonia. He is currently working on his Ph.D. research on the protection of wrongfully convicted persons in Croatia. He earned an LL.M. in 2012 from the Faculty of Law in Skopje. He is coordinating a multistructural project on the protection of women and other underrepresented minorities from human trafficking, in collaboration with the U.S. Embassy in Zagreb He works with the CEELI Institute for Advancing the Rule of Law in Prague, OSCE, the OSCEODIHR in Warsaw, and DCAF - Geneva Center for Security Sector Governance to provide legal expertise in projects focused on the protection of human rights, access to justice, rule of law, intelligence sector reform, fostering independence of the judiciary, and enhanced justice, including remote trials. He provided logistical and legal support to the establishment of the Advisory Council for Judicial Ethics of North Macedonia and co-authored a new Code of Judicial Ethics for Judges and Lay Judges. Furthermore, as coordinator of the Strengthening the Judicial Transparency Project, in cooperation with the INL Department of the U.S. Embassy in Skopje, he and his team established the first Judicial Media Council in North Macedonia as a platform for dialogue between judges and journalists. In cooperation with the U.S. Embassy in Skopje,  he coordinated a judicial mentoring program for Macedonian and U.S. judges on the prevention of corruption. He is the U.S. State Department’s Alumnus of the International Visitor Leadership Program for young leaders on the topic of „Foreign Policy and Human Rights“.
