Lisa Hilbink (Ph.D., UC-San Diego) is currently Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Her research and teaching center on the judicial role in democracy and democratization and she has been a leading voice in comparative research on the changing role of law and courts in polities around the world. She is a two-time Fulbright grantee to Chile and Spain, and before joining the faculty at Minnesota, was a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Society of Fellows and lecturer in the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University.
