Nino Tsereteli is a research officer at Democracy Reporting International, re:constitution program. In this capacity, she traces and analyzes the rule of law performance of the EU member states. Her research also focuses on judicial governance and informal judicial institutions in Europe. Before joining DRI, Nino held research positions at the Judicial Studies Institute, Masaryk University (Czechia), and the University of Oslo (Norway). She was awarded several grants from the Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia for her research on judicial independence. Before joining academia, Nino worked as a legal advisor and the Deputy Head of the Department of State Representation to International Courts at the Ministry of Justice of Georgia.She holds a Doctorate in Law from the University of Oslo and LL.M. degrees from Central European University and Leiden University
