Pavol studied law in Bratislava and public policy at Princeton University. He co-founded and led the first public interest law NGO Via Iuris. He also led Stop Corruption Foundation and other initiatives aimed to protect and support whistleblowers, investigative journalists, and active citizens facing retribution for their activities.   

Pavol was a member of the Slovak Judicial Council between 2016-2021. He is a member of the committees for the selection of judges and an external faculty member of the Slovak Judicial Academy. Pavol specializes in judicial ethics, integrity, and judicial selection procedures.
